Lady Eliza Spencer, niece of Diana, Princess of Wales, has turned her hand to winemaking with the launch of Lala V Rosé, a Provençal wine now available exclusively through luxury drinks retailer Hackstons at its Knightsbridge flagship store.
The partnership brings together two names built on a reputation for quality and craftsmanship. Lala V Rosé is intended to capture the character of Provence itself, from its sunlit hillsides to its cooling coastal breezes, in a wine that Lady Spencer hopes will suit everything from a quiet evening to a full celebration.
Speaking at the launch, Lady Spencer said she was thrilled to see Lala V stocked exclusively at Hackstons, adding that partnering with a retailer who shared her passion for quality and craftsmanship meant a great deal to her.
A Name Rooted in Family
The wine’s name carries personal significance. Lala was Lady Eliza’s childhood nickname, while V is drawn from the French word for life, vie. Together they reflect a philosophy of joie de vivre, an invitation to embrace life’s golden afternoons and shared moments with a little more exuberance.
In the glass, Lala V is pale pink with delicate salmon hues. On the nose it offers ripe peach and soft citrus, while the palate is smooth and beautifully balanced, finishing with a refined softness. Lala V Côtes de Provence Rosé is priced at £27.00, available in store at Hackstons’ Knightsbridge premises or online.
